Motorola has been the pioneer in the mobile phone industry. And when the smartphone revolution came, they upped their game and came out with some of the best and the most functional smartphones ever.

Now, it is the era of smart TVs and it seems like all the mobile manufacturers are coming out with their own version of a smart TV and Motorola is not so far off.

Last month Motorola launched 6 new smart TVs with varying features on Flipkart. The base model starts at 13,999 and flagship costs around 64,999.

The flagship even has features like Dolby Vision, MEMC, etc. along with that each model comes with its own Gaming controller.

Do these have the Motorola quality? And do they have what it takes to hang out in the big leagues? Let us find out.

Motorola Smart Tv Price In India

The Motorola range of smart TVs is quite competitively priced with the base model starting at Rs 13,999. The Motorola smart tv price in India of the variants are as follows:

32-inch HD- Rs 13,999

43-inch FHD- Rs 24,999

43-inch UHD- Rs 29,999

50-inch UHD -Rs 33,999

55-inch UHD -Rs 39,999

65-inch UHD -Rs 64,999

Even the Flagship model’s price is catered towards offering a premium TV viewing experience without breaking your bank. When compared with other flagships, Motorola Smart TV provides much more bang for the buck.

The Display

Motorola Smart TV has put some serious effort into the display functionality of their smart TVs. The 32-inch HD and 43-inch FHD are the only ones that do not support 4K. This makes the 43-inch UHD one of the most cheapest 4K smart TV you could find anywhere in the market. All of the panels are IPS LCD displays with the flagship being a 65 inch UHD 4K IPS LCD display.

Additionally, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and MEMC technologies are supported by the 43-Inch UHD onwards, for a much smoother video viewing experience.

The Sound

The sound signature of these TVs is absolutely mindblowing. The 32 inch and both versions of the 43 inch get a 20 W speaker and the 43 inch UHD has Dolby TruSurround sound while the 32- inch HD and 43-inch FHD get normal Dolby Sound.

But from the 50-inch UHD and upwards, Motorola Smart TV truly ups their audio game. These TV’s get a 30 W forward-facing soundbar system with Dolby TruSurround sound. This provides the viewers with a much more immersive audio experience.

The Software.

Since these are smart TVs Motorola has used an unnamed processor with a Mali 470 MP3 GPU in all the TVs. This GPU is perfect for expanding the IoT aspect of owning a Smart TV.

The 32-inch HD and the 43-FHD are the only ones that have 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM. The rest of them have 2.25 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM. All these TVs come with Android Pie TV pre-installed. Support for Amazon Prime and Netflix is also inbuilt.

Conclusion

It is pretty evident from the pricing and the products offered by Motorola that they are looking to take on companies like Xiaomi, Lloyd etc who make low to medium budget smart TVs. As far as their competition is considered, at this point in time, Motorola Smart TV is actually doing pretty good for themselves. The product is innovative and the additional gaming controller is a good touch. This is only available in Flipkart for the time being.

As for the questions we asked in the beginning, yes this does have the Motorola quality and it may not win any competition with big boys such as OnePlus but Motorola’s TVs are special in its own way.

These are really good smart TVs at their price point. If it is your first smart TV then definitely go for it, Motorola won't disappoint.
